Indiana State Police (ISP) cold case investigators are asking for the public's help solving murder case that is nearly 40-years-old.Police are looking into the murder of 17-year-old Laurel Jean Mitchell, who was found dead in the Elkhart River in Noble County on August 7, 1975. Mitchell was last seen leaving work at Epworth Forrest in North Webster at 10:15pm on the previous night.
